Poornima University - Reviews

V Vinod chandra upreti
Current Student Review (Detailed) I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in CSE at Poornima University, and the experience has been mostly positive. Academically, the university keeps the syllabus updated and integrates certifications in areas like Python, AI, and cloud computing. The faculty is knowledgeable and encourages project-based learning, especially in our final years. Placements are a strong point—reputed companies like Infosys, Capgemini, and Accenture regularly visit, and some high-performing students even got offers from TCS Digital and Deloitte. Hostel life is decent—rooms are fairly clean, food is okay, and Wi-Fi is functional. The campus is well maintained and has active student clubs, hackathons, sports, and cultural events. However, the major challenge is that admin work can be slow and rigid, and some labs still need better equipment. Overall, it's a good place if you're career-focused and willing to explore beyond the syllabus.

4. One-Paragraph Casual Review Poornima has a really vibrant atmosphere and the crowd is generally ambitious. I’ve enjoyed my time here, especially because the faculty is approachable and placements are taken seriously. That said, the hostel food can get monotonous and you’ll need to push through a bit of red tape when it comes to official work. But if you’re looking for strong academics and a decent campus life, it’s worth it.

5. Highly Positive Review (Placement + Academic Support) As a final-year CSE student, I landed a job at Capgemini with the help of Poornima’s placement team. What made the difference was the pre-placement training—mock interviews, aptitude sessions, and resume-building workshops conducted by the Career Development Cell. Faculty support was excellent, especially during final-year project development and tech competitions. I also earned AWS and Microsoft certifications thanks to university tie-ups. Couldn’t have asked for more!

6. Critical but Respectful Review Poornima is academically sound and placement-focused, but infrastructure maintenance could be better. Some hostel washrooms need regular cleaning, and admin responses can be slow during fee refunds or certificate requests. Still, my teachers are committed and we have enough exposure to industry trends through webinars and guest lectures. With a few improvements, it could easily be among the top in Rajasthan.

First-Year Impressions I just started BBA at Poornima University, and I’m already impressed. The faculty is super friendly and the orientation week was full of fun ice-breakers and intro lectures. Campus is clean, well-organized, and there’s a lot of student activity. Food in the mess is okay, but the canteen makes up for it. The vibe is good—motivated crowd, active clubs, and helpful seniors.

Current Student Review (Detailed) I’m in my third year B.Sc. Biotechnology at Dr. B. Lal Institute, and overall it’s a detailed and research-oriented experience. Academics emphasize lab work, molecular biology techniques, and seminars on latest biotech trends. Faculty are committed—Dr. Mehta and Dr. Saxena often hold extra lab sessions and ensure we grasp concepts deeply. Placements are emerging: biotech startups, diagnostics labs, and occasional pharma firms recruit, though numbers are moderate. Hostel life is basic but safe, with shared rooms and modest mess food; cleanliness varies.
