Fergusson College, Pune, established in 1892 and fully functional since 1895, is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious institutions for higher education. Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), the college was granted the status of ‘College of Excellence’ by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2017, recognizing its outstanding academic contributions.
