NHTET stands for National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test. It is conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). This exam helps select eligible candidates to become Assistant Lecturers and Teaching Associates in hospitality institutes like IHMs (Institutes of Hotel Management) across India.

Each question carries 2 marks (except Paper III which has 4 marks each)
Negative Marking: Yes (half mark deducted for each wrong answer)

Paper II: Basics of Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Tourism
Paper III: Advanced knowledge in hospitality topics covered in UG and PG levels

Exam Date: Generally in April and October
Results: Released around 1 month after the exam
Candidates must qualify all three papers together
There is a minimum cutoff for each paper and total combined marks
