Vishwakarma University (VU) is a private state university located in Pune, Maharashtra. Established in 2017, it is one of the youngest yet fast-growing institutions of higher education in the region. Within a short time, the university has earned a reputation for academic excellence, innovation, and strong connections with industries. VU operates under the Vishwakarma Group of Institutions, a name that has been contributing to education in Maharashtra for several decades.

The campus is set across 20 acres with advanced facilities, providing a modern and student-friendly environment. The university is approved by the UGC and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. It is also a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities), giving it recognition on par with other top universities across India.

Establishment and Founder

Vishwakarma University was founded in 2017 under the guidance of the Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT), which manages the Vishwakarma Group of Institutions. The group has been a major contributor to the education sector, running engineering, design, pharmacy, architecture, and management colleges in Pune.

VU was established with the aim to give students a truly global-standard education while staying rooted in Indian values.

Courses Offered

Vishwakarma University provides a wide choice of programs across multiple fields at UG, PG, Diploma, and Ph.D. levels.

• Postgraduate Courses (16 programs): MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc, MA, M.Des, and others.

• Diploma & Doctoral Courses: PG Diplomas and Ph.D. programs across various disciplines.

The fees range approximately between ₹60,000 and ₹2,50,000 per year for UG programs and between ₹1,00,000 and ₹3,00,000 annually for PG programs.
