MIT Arts Commerce and Science College Reviews
As a current student, I appreciate the supportive faculty and practical curriculum which prepares me well for my career. Placement cell is proactive, and extracurricular clubs keep campus lively. Hostel facilities are good but can improve in food quality.
The balance of academics with sports and cultural fests makes campus life enjoyable. Some faculty could enhance their teaching methods, but overall the environment is conducive to learning and growth.
Placement opportunities here are decent with good industry connections. The rigorous coursework is challenging, yet faculty mentoring helps overcome hurdles.
The infrastructure is generally good with modern labs and a rich library. Hostel space can be crowded during peak seasons.
I like the variety of courses offered and the exposure to cutting-edge technology. The biggest challenge is balancing the academic pressure and personal time.
Graduated two years ago; the college provided a solid foundation in commerce and computer applications. Placements during my final year were supportive, with companies like Infosys recruiting actively.
MIT ACSC gave me not just education but confidence. Faculty were approachable; placement cell helped me get an internship that converted into a job.
The college’s focus on skills and personality development prepared me well. Alumni network is growing, offering good mentoring post-graduation.
Reflecting on my time here, the practical labs and projects were highlights, equipping me for the corporate world. Placements were consistent with average to good packages.
The blend of academics and extra activities built my leadership and communication skills critical for my career growth.
Well-equipped infrastructure and digital library Hostel food and separate accommodations are limited
Experienced, approachable faculty Some courses could update curriculum faster
Active placement cell and decent recruiter list Management response times can be slow
Vibrant student life with several clubs and fests Fees slightly higher compared to some peers
Safe and clean campus Limited online/distance learning options
MIT ACSC is a great place with friendly professors and a nice mix of academics and social activities. The placements are okay, with some big companies visiting. Hostel food could be tastier, and more online flexibility would be helpful, but the overall vibe is positive and encouraging.
Thanks to MIT ACSC's dedicated placement team, I secured a role at TCS with a great package. The faculty's constant guidance and the hands-on projects, especially in computer science, were invaluable. The college’s industry tie-ups and workshops made all the difference.
The teaching at MIT ACSC is solid and faculty knowledgeable; however, the hostel infrastructure needs urgent upgrades, especially for mess facilities. Administrative delays sometimes affect student services, which if improved, would enhance the student experience.
"Good for commerce courses, competitive peer group."
"Strong IT placements, but infrastructure can improve."
"Affordable education with decent faculty support."
"Active student clubs, though hostel accommodations are limited."
"Reliable alumni network and growing industry links."
I was deciding between MIT ACSC and Fergusson College Pune. I chose MIT because of its focus on technology integration and better placement support. So far, it has met my expectations with modern labs and active industry interaction, although Fergusson had a more traditional campus charm.
As a fresher, MIT ACSC feels welcoming with lots of activities and supportive seniors. Faculty are approachable, classes engaging, and the campus peaceful. The mess food is average, but the overall vibe is positive for starting an academic journey.
