Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is a public central university located in New Delhi, the capital of India. It was founded in 1920 by a group of visionaries and nationalists with the aim of promoting quality education. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has earned an A++ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Over the years, Jamia has established itself as a leading educational institution in the country.

According to the NIRF 2023 rankings, JMI stands at 3rd position among universities and 12th in the overall category.
